Hello and welcome! I'm Sylvia Britton, and I've been online since 1996 offering encouragement and help in the spirit of Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 at Christian Homekeeper. CHK is the original Homekeeping site on the internet. There have been a few knockoffs of the name, but this is the original.I am a Christian, a believer in Jesus Christ. So everything here is unapologetically Christian in view. I believe God has a plan for each person. He offers salvation from our sins and His judgment. He knows each of us, intimately.
I've been married to my husband since 1980, the mother of 5 adults and a grandma of eight so far. I believe that God works in ordinary lives like mine and yours, too.
Every time life gets too busy, getting back to simple uncomplicated daily routines has helped me quiet down and draw closer to God to listen to Him. I think it will do that for you too and I’ll show you how to do that here at Christian Homekeeper along with offering some insights to life as an older Christian sister and spiritual mother.
