I’m thankful that we are having cooler weather and that Autumn is on the way. The heat this summer has been terrible. In fact, it was more comfortable in Jamaica this past July than it has been here all summer. Autumn and all the colors are a beautiful break form a long, hot, dry few months. 
Another thing I am thankful for is my husband. We’ve been married 31 years as of yesterday. We’re going to go out to dinner in celebration of our anniversary tomorrow night. He brought me 31 roses yesterday.
I’m also thankful for my husband’s job, family and a home. Just ordinary things that are so necessary to life.

Oh Sylvia, our Summer has been extremely hot as well. But we usually don’t feel Autumn weather until November so we still have a ways to go.
