...a God to serve...a family to love... a work to do...

Status Report

Sitting … at my desk, watching the sun come up and start to dry up the heavy dew, looking at the jewel-like beads of dew sparkle before they disappear.

Working … on an expository Bible study on Numbers for my ladies group. We will start in a couple of weeks and that should give me time to get my thoughts and notes together. I hope.

Thinking ahead … to Fall break.  As home educators, we don’t have to have a Fall break but since the children’s friends all have one, and its a time when they like to be together…. we’ve taken a short Fall break for several years.  Its also a time when we try to do some kind of short family trip.

Thankful … for God’s Word and how it speaks to me and teaches me about my Father in heaven.

Planning … music and the service for Homecoming at our Church. Its a very nice time each year of worship and fellowship.

Encouraged … in my study of Numbers by some comments from people who had no idea they were encouraging me for a task that seemed very daunting .

Listening … to the Salvation Army’s cd, Majestic.  Good music.

Thanks to Rebecca Writes for the Status Update idea.

I just discovered your blog. I love it. I have been writing the children’s lessons as the director of a new children’s study in Ardmore, Oklahoma. We are studying Genesis this year. God has blessed me so much through this study. I am looking forward to reading your posts in the future.
