From Jennifer ~ Cocoa snowmen. Use 3 jars stacked on top of each other. Put peppermint candies in the bottom, cocoa mix in the middle one and marshmallows on the top one and decorate.

I like to make a family gift baskets for friends & neighbors.
For a breakfast basket I usually include a homemade pancake mix, a home canned jelly or flavored syrup and a little package of coffee.
Another favorite is a dessert basket with three mini loaves of quick breads such as pumpkin, banana and zucchini, some homemade fudge, homemade hot cocoa mix and a homemade flavored coffee mix.
These type of gifts say you are special to us without breaking the bank.

Thanks for all the great tips so far! I started making aprons from my old bell bottom jeans back when I was a newlywed almost 40 years ago! I trimmed them with colored binding and embroidered the recipients initial. I also took the back pocket from the jeans to use on the apron. One thing I do when I’m invited to a wedding shower is try to get ahold of an old pair of the grooms jeans to make an apron for the bride!
