I wonder how you’re doing through all the strange days we’ve been having? My husband and I have been self isolating since the second week of March. Here it is nearly 3 weeks later.
The days are much the same for us as they always have been so it isn’t all that stressful for us. Reading too much news is more stressful to me than anything. And not being able to see our adult children and our grand children is sad.
It has been raining for days and days here. Just yesterday we got a break from rain and chilly temperatures, it was a sunny, hot day and I enjoyed being outdoors. I cleaned out three garden spots. I have some cabbage plants ready to go in the ground but its a little too hot so I’ll wait til Monday when the temps will be back in the 60s so the little plants won’t go to seed.
The tulips are growing, daffodils blooming and the cherry trees are lovely. Everything seems so normal. I did have to go to a Dr’s appointment and I dreaded it, but it was necessary and I weighed all the options, prayed and prayed. Then I decided I really must go. And the waiting room was empty! I was so thankful.
I’ve been staying in other than that, trying to do my part to “flatten the curve”, not get or give this virus. We took a short car ride the other day to look around. It was sort of the same – but eerily different, not very much traffic in this usually extremely busy town. I’m a home body but even I am a little weary of not being able to go to a movie or restaurant now and then. Doing my part. Are you doing yours?
