This is my Grandmother’s recipe. Its the original of may later iterations of the same dish. I like this one best.

1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries – chopped finely
1 large Granny Smith or other tart green apple – chopped finely
1 large sweet red apple, chopped finely
1 large orange – chopped finely peel and all
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 large (6-ounce) box raspberry jello or two small 3 ounce boxes
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar

Chop all the fruit and nuts in a food processor.

Put the water and sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer, turn off heat and stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add the Jello.
Stir till dissolved.
Add all the other ingredients. Spread in a 9×13 inch pan, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate til firm.
