In 1995 we got our first home computer. I was not really interested in it but it was a novelty. I taught myself some rudimentary html and made a web site to store my homemaking ideas and recipes. Pretty soon I was writing information about the old fashioned homemaking and cooking that I had grown up with. I was writing about my children and our journey of faith as a family. I guess that was about the time I realized that God was using what I was writing to encourage other Christian women. The emails were pouring in and it was evident that God was using me and the site to minister to women.

In 1996 I started The 21st Century Christian Homekeeper™ web site. On that site I offered encouragement, instruction and help for women who were homemakers. God continued to bless and use the site and soon we had a message board. The site name was shortened to Christian Homekeeper™ and the message board took off.

Online communication is difficult and I struggled to be sure that I was being understood and to understand others. Communicating correctly in type is an art that has to be honed and developed and for His own reasons, God gave me the desire to pursue that art. The message board and website weathered the years and was closed only briefly when I was very ill for a few months.
At that time my then online friend Traci at Traci's Cottage opened up another board to accommodate the ladies who were displaced by the closing of the CHK™ board. Traci and I became good friends and it wasn't long before we knew that God was calling us to join together to do His will. The two ministries joined and became Titus 2 Christian Homekeeper™.
We are just two Christian mommies, wives, friends, trying to obey the Lord and do His will to serve others.
